See your player: card, development, performance
The player page holds vitals, season setup, performance stats, baseline tryout evaluation, and the coach development read when staff share it with parents.

- Signed in at /portal
- Player linked to your guardian email

Steps
- On /portal, find My players and select Open player page.Expected: Player hero shows name, team, season, and jersey number.
- Read the Player card for DOB, position, jersey, grad year, and school.Expected: Values match your records (read-only for parents).
- Scroll to Development read when staff have shared it (Shared with parents pill on home card).Expected: Rating, focus, and narrative appear; otherwise you see a building message.
- Review Performance and Baseline evaluation sections when posted.Expected: Season stats and locked tryout baseline display when data exists.

Troubleshooting
Coach says read is posted but I do not see it
Likely cause: Staff wrote a read but did not enable Show this read in the parent portal.
Fix: Ask coach to toggle parent visibility on the roster development editor.
Wrong player or missing player
Likely cause: Guardian email mismatch or player on another guardian account.
Fix: Staff verify guardian email on the roster record.
What you still cannot do here
- Parents cannot edit vitals — use Season setup correction request.
- Private coach notes never appear here — only the shared development read.
Portal button labels may differ slightly — club staff can edit parent-facing copy at /admin/portal-copy. The headings in this guide match the default shipped text.
