Unlock the schedule
Team schedules and the family team board stay locked until required deposits or dues clear. After unlock, upcoming games appear on the portal home and the full board opens on the team page.

Steps
- On /portal, read the Schedule access card for each locked team.Expected: You see which requirement blocks the schedule (deposit/dues) and a pay link if owed.
- Pay through the linked assignment (see /help/payments).Expected: Season setup financial steps show complete.
- Return to /portal — check the Schedule section for upcoming games.Expected: Games list with opponent, time, and location when posted.
- Open the team from a game link or Open team board.Expected: /portal/teams/[teamSlug] shows the family team board with schedule and results.

Troubleshooting
Paid but schedule still locked
Likely cause: Wrong assignment paid, or showcase vs full-roster rules differ for your player.
Fix: Confirm with staff which product unlocks schedule; refresh after they adjust assignments.
Unlocked but No games on the board yet
Likely cause: Schedule not posted yet — different from locked.
Fix: Wait for staff to publish games; the empty state is expected.
What you still cannot do here
- Showcase and full-roster players may have different gate rules — read the card text for your player.
- Public /schedule may show less detail than the family team board.
Portal button labels may differ slightly — club staff can edit parent-facing copy at /admin/portal-copy. The headings in this guide match the default shipped text.
