Become a Host Family for the Defending SCBL Champions!

The Southern Collegiate Baseball League (SCBL) season is almost here, and the Regulators Baseball Club is ready to defend their title as SCBL Champions!

This summer, we’re welcoming college players from across the country—and you have the unique opportunity to be part of the action by becoming a Host Family.

What is the Host Family Program?

The Host Family Program connects dedicated college athletes with local families who open their homes during the SCBL season. These players are chasing their dreams of competing at the next level, and your support can help them succeed both on and off the field.

By hosting an SCBL player, you’re doing more than offering a place to stay—you’re joining a legacy of champions and creating unforgettable memories for your family.

Why Become a Host Family?

Hosting a player is a rewarding experience for families of all kinds. Here’s why it’s worth considering:

  • Inspiration for Young Athletes: Imagine your kids playing wiffle ball or video games with a college athlete, soaking up their wisdom, and even receiving one-on-one lessons during downtime. These players are role models who lead by example.

  • A Championship Summer: As part of the defending SCBL champions, you’ll share in the excitement of an action-packed season with approximately 40 games from June to late July.

  • Gratitude: Enjoy 4 season tickets to all home games (approximately 20 games), along with our endless appreciation for your support.

  • Lifelong Memories: Build lasting relationships with players who bring leadership, focus, and a love for baseball into your home.

What to Expect

  • Timing: Players will arrive on May 25 and stay through the end of July.

  • Schedule: Players have structured schedules, including batting practice starting at 4 PM and 7 PM game times, keeping them busy most days.

  • Independence: These players are self-sufficient and responsible, managing their transportation and meals outside your home.

Host Family Responsibilities

Hosting a player is simple and incredibly rewarding. Here’s what’s required:

  • A bed and access to a bathroom.
  • Access to laundry facilities.
  • A safe and welcoming space.
  • Occasional meals (when schedules align).

Many players enjoy spending time with their host family’s kids, whether it’s playing wiffle ball in the backyard, video games, or simply sharing stories about their baseball journey. They often provide inspiration and even one-on-one coaching for young athletes in the home.

What’s in It for You?

Hosting a player is about so much more than baseball:

  • Connection: Build lifelong bonds with athletes who inspire and enrich your family’s summer.

  • Gratitude: Enjoy 4 season tickets to all home games (approximately 20 games), along with our endless appreciation for your support.

  • A Front-Row Seat to Greatness: Be part of the Regulators’ quest to defend their SCBL title while contributing to the development of future stars.
